Inspired by the island village of Daajing Giids on Haida Gwaii, this bar honours the ancestral roots of the Raven clan. Formulated with aromatic anise, it soothes and protects hard-working hands.

Use daily as needed – rinse well and gently pat dry. For external use only. For all skin types. Use a draining soap dish or soap saver between uses to get the longest life out of your artisan bar.

Ingredients: saponified oils/butters of: coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, sustainable palm oil, triple milk, organic shea butter, activated charcoal, white kaolin clay, mica and essential oils of anise star + lavender.

  • Valerie Lamirande, the founder/CEO, was born and raised on Haida Gwaii, a remote group of islands off the north coast of BC. As a Haida woman, Lamirande belongs to the Raven Clan of Skedans and her given Haida name is Slin_ga a Jaad, which means “Creative Girl” – and her life experience has certainly lived up to it. Previously, she worked full time in a corporate job as an executive assistant and events coordinator, and she dabbled in soap making as a hobby. Valerie now runs a successful soap and candle shop as well as an online shop and is constantly adding to her luxury line of bath and beauty products. RavenSong is an award-winning soap company with the most recent being “Best in Show” at the International Soap Making Conference in Las Vegas and has caught the attention of Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank and As Seen on TV.
