Navajo Tea with Wildberry Soap Bar
Navajo Tea with Wildberry Soap Bar
Nizhóní Soap's flagship soap is created by the family's oldest daughter, Kamia Begay from Shiprock, NM. She insisted the ingredients for the soap come from the Navajo Nation and that it smells delicious. The high-meadows of Arizona’s Chuska Mountains are home to a plant called greenthread, more commonly known as Navajo tea. The Navajo tea plant has been picked, dried, and brewed as an herbal tea by generations of Navajo people. Nizhóní Soap took this beautiful plant and infused it into their one-of-a-kind soap.
Product info: glycerin soap base, Navajo tea, wild berry-vanilla aroma essential oil, wild hyacinth aroma essential oil, pomegranate and vanilla extract

In 2019 at age 11, Kamia Begay, a Navajo girl from Shiprock, NM, started a handmade soap business with her family to bring the wonderful sights and smells of the Navajo Nation to the world. Kamia hand-harvests herbs and plants for her products, which now include bar soap, oils, body butter, and wax melts. Just a few years later, there are now 3 Nizhoni Soap Company retail stores: Downtown Farmington, Old Town Albuquerque and Mesa, Arizona.
