Jenna Grey Eagle
is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of Pine Ridge, SD. She is a beadworker deeply tapped into family tradition and memory. Having learned from her mother, who in turn learned from her mother by helping with colors on star quilts, Jenna’s work carries on the memory of several generations of Lakota artists. She hopes to share her culture and stories by carrying on the designs and colors her mother taught her.
